What We're All About
Welcome to the Aggies Film and Reading Council! First, let me say that none of this would be possible without the initiator and sponsor, our librarian June Chandler. Now, on to the more important stuff. (Just kidding. We love you Miss Chandler!) We are a club that not only enjoys a fanatical mystery, a star crossed romance, or a terrifying thriller (cough, Stephen King, cough), but we enjoy movies, plays, and T.V. shows, such as The Walking Dead, Sherlock (BBC series), Saving Hope, Shakespeare, Phantom of The Opera, and many more. Now I'll hand my imaginary mike over to our President, Patricia.
Hello my nerdy little bundles of literature! This council is all about what you are interested in as a young reader and film/show lover. We have so many new, creative and fun ideas coming your way soon! On this blog we are going to talk about up coming activities and books that we enjoy. The club is going to meet up once maybe twice a month, the first Wednesday of every month, during third club, is a definate, we are looking in to one Friday a month, during the Aggie period. Council members do have S.L.P. (Special Library Privileges), which are discussed with members upon entry. Every month there is going to be a vote between members on the top books we liked that month. This blog is for everyone (though members this will help you keep up with certain events and things we do) so don't worry if your not in the council, but we do hope this inspires you to become a part of A.F.A.R.
